Am I on the right place? Seventeen thousands to elevanth thousands years ago?
Yes, welcome,you are in the west and the middle Europa, in the civilization of Magdalenien.
This is our camp in the German Petersfels at the Engen, where every year we hunt and process the caribous in the end of summer.
These walls and pillars, made from limestone, are helping us to hunt the caribous.
We sew by tendon with help of awl and needl.
When we stay today in the one of the modern museum in the west Europe and we see how beautiful is these exhibit clothes, we won't beleve, that in the end of the 19th century the scientists haven't want to accept, that the prehistoric peoplehave had aesthetical sentiment, much less they could manage artistic expresions.
Now scientists had to be surprised, when little 5 years old girl Maria found the paintings of the prehistoric animals in the cave of the Altamira in the Spain.
Hallo children, my father was digging here in the soil some flints, but I looked overhead and the discovery was here.
The scientists would prefer to have their ancestry as a silly primitives and they refused the Altamira as an evidence of prehistory's art. Conversely, they accused the discoverer from the cheat. However, the Altamira did not remain alone for a long time. More and more discoveries in the other caves were discovered continuously. At the time, the scientits had to admit with a bad grace the fact, that the world of a prehistory's people was much more colorful,beautiful and interesting than they could ever imagine.

In many places of Europe, the soil is constantly frozen and in the summer it thaws only on the surface.
And what kind of animals we can see here?
The horse,
the caribou,
the musk,
the bostaurus,
the bison,
the rhinoceros,
the mammoth,
the wild boar,
the lion,
the wolf, the hyena,
the snow grouse, the snowy owl,
the beaver, the wolverine,
the bear,
the rabbit of north, the rabbit, the polar fox,
the seadog,
the raven, the alka.
Ask your teacher, in the museum or in the library, where was the closest Magdalenien's camp and make there a trip with your friends, your class or with your parents.
Don't forget to e-mail us, where you can write us, how did you like the guides, if the trails were well marking, if you didn't need to looking for the marking to long, what kind of feeling you have had when you were on the locations of the prehistoric people. Write us, where was the closest restaurant, the kiosk with the souvenirs and the post cards relative to landmark. We are welcomink all of your photographs and the most intereting stories we will publicize with a pleasure.
